THE CONCEPT - Real Estate
The Indian economy is growing at 9% and the real estate market is growing at 30%. There has been almost 300% rise in commercial properties and about 100% rise in residential properties in last two years.
Demand continues to outstrip supply in Mumbai; National Capital region and almost all other major metros. It is estimated that there is a shortage of almost 30 million dwelling units at the moment. Real
estate prices in Tier I cities of Delhi; Mumbai & Bangalore are touching stratospheric heights. Tier II & III cities like Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Indore, Siliguri, Kochi, Jalandhar, Ludhiana are buzzing
with activity with numerous malls, residential townships emerging all across erstwhile semi-urban & rural landscape.
The IT/ITES, Retail, Tourism & Industrial booms have unleashed massive demand for quality commercial space across the country.
The Indian real estate story gets bigger & better with every passing day. The Indian real estate is not only attracting investments from domestic markets but also from overseas. On one hand domestic players
like DLF riding on the real estate crest have broken into richest of the rich club and on the other hand International majors like Emmar & Nakheel are keen to make a mark in India. Rise of Rahejas, Unitech,
Parsvnath, Omaxe, TDI Group, Purvankara, and BPTP has become folklore. Industrial houses like Reliance (Both Mukesh & ADA group) and Lanco, to name a few have also joined the property bandwagon.
The Game has just begun and there seems to be enough for everybody. As per Assocham, the Indian Real Estate market is of the order of USD 14 billion and is expected to touch USD 90 billion by 2015. New financial
products like Real estate mutual funds (REMF) & Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) will make the market even more dynamic.

NORMS FOR CREATION OF STUDY CENTRES
For effective and efficient functioning of a Study Centre, it is of prime importance
that the organization is owned and managed by professionals. The Institute should also
have experience in conducting undergraduate and post-graduate programmes of recognized/deemed
Universities in Management field. The number of Study Centres to be created in a city will
depend on the size of the city and number of students likely to be enrolled. However, as a
guideline, another centre may not be created within five kilometers radius on an existing
Study Centre in a small city and within three kilometers radius in a big city as far as possible.
The following infrastructure is the guideline principle for approval of the Study Centre:
A       Location of Centre.
B       Carpet area of at least 2000-2500 sq. ft., suitable modified for labs and classrooms.
C       Atleast 20 computers of configuration as per university norms with facility for printers, Internet, Network, and
          Scanning.
D       Library facilities with atleast 150-200 titles of books.
E       Appropriate dust proofing and air-conditioning.
F     Faculty
For under graduate/ Graduate Programs –     Atleast Post Graduate from a recognized University and others subject specialists.
For Post Graduate Programs -     PhD or Min. Post Graduate with 1 yr experience as academic faculty and others subject specialists.
G       Two classrooms with seating capacity of 30 each.
H       Supporting Staff including lab assistants.
I         Generators, Audio-Video facility, hardware and software.
J       Public conveniences.
K       Each Study Centre should have a reliable E-mail ID for day to day communication with IIREIF.
The above requirements will be for student strength of 50 to 100. Additional infrastructure will be required as per the student strength fitting into
the rules and norms stipulated by academic council of the institute. The application for becoming Study Centre may kindly be forwarded through a registered
society, trust or limited company.
Kindly enclose the following documents along with the application form for becoming Study Centre:
1       Memorandum / Details of Society, Trust or Limited Company. Also include the resolution for becoming the
          IIREIF Real Estate Program Study Centre.
2       Photo ID Proof in form of copy of Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card etc.
3       Copy of PAN Card.
4       Floor Plan / Map of the Area.
5       List of Books available in Library.
6       Bio Data of Faculty Member with copy of their educational certificates.
All documents forwarded must be duly attested signed and stamped by the study centre co-ordinator. Kindly ensure that all above stated documents are duly enclosed for becoming the study centre.
Note: Kindly forward TWO COPIES of application. Kindly put your signature on each page with your institution seal. IIREIF reserve the right to reject the application without assigning any reason. Duly Filled and signed the Form below.
